I have the windows 10 Enterprise Evaluation on my desktop, The evaluation has expired, and now the computer shuts down after an hour. Notice that you cannot upgrade this version of windows, you must do a clean installation of it, so yes, you would lose all your stuff if you don’t backup it.

And as already been told, upgrade from windows 10 Enterprise Evaluation to Windows 10 Enterprise is not supported. You should do a clean install, and a re-install of your applications.

What sucks? Did you expect to be able to upgrade the eval version to a full version? What made you think that it was possible? Most every other software package lets you download and evaluation copy and simply buy the keys to activate it to a full version. At a minimum the fact should be very clearly noted at install of the evaluation copy telling you that is should not be used for productive work and that a complete reinstall is required to activate.

But Enterprise is designed for the Enterprise. It is not available in a retail version, so there are no retail product keys.
