Windows 10 wont shut down from start menu free download –
Since I upgraded to Windows 10 it has not once properly shut down. I have tried multiple different methods that have been posted on the Microsoft forum to fix these issues and still not one has worked. So I’m asking why haven’t we gotten patches that fix these yet? Why haven’t these issues been properly addressed? I’m not to tech savvy to feel comfortable changing all the settings and have something go wrong and my computer is now useless. Was this discussion helpful? Yes No.
Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. If you have problems zipping the minidump files copy the minidump files to another location such as a folder on the Desktop. In reply to auggy’s post on September 16, In reply to Tommyboy15’s post on September 17, Start Menu issues can be “Account Related”. Does this happen on all your computer sign in accouints? I found out, after re-installing Windows 10 twice, for this same problem, that it happened again, but, only on one of my sign in accounts on my Windows 7 to Windows 10 upgraded machines. Since I had set the others up as “administrators” I could delete the bothersome account then re-install it from another account.
I also found out that each new account, I created, had a working “Start menu” so it has to be somthing running on the troublesome account. I am still investigating, but, I noticed that my MSN Premium Software would not open the mail either and wanted me to download a program instead. This problem could be a virus comming in a “back door” from another application like MSN Premium Software or the 8 Gadget widget side bar that you can import to run the old Windows Vista or Windows 7 gadgets.
I ran Webroot Spy Sweeper anti Virus and McAfee anti virus and neither turned up anything so I will keep testing sites to see where this is comming from. Thanks for the update. This site in other languages x.
